The hunt takes place on a privately owned ranch approximately 70 miles south of Malta Montana or in the Glasgow area in the Missouri River Breaks. The ranch has approximately 6500 acres of deeded land and one of the largest concentrations of elk in the area. All lodging and meals are included in the hunt. The Outfitter has stands and blinds as well as locating and calling.This hunt will be your best opportunity to not only take a elk with your bow, but also have the opportunity for a Trophy! The hunt takes place throughout the whole day, not just early mornings and evenings. Success ratio varies from year to year due to skill of hunters and the willingness of the hunter to shoot a smaller six-point or rag horn. Many years the same hunter may pass up on shots on smaller bulls wanting that one opportunity at the larger herd bulls that oftentimes are seven points or larger.
