DROP CAMP 1

From September 15 to November 18, we offer drop-camp hunts where we furnish tent, wood stove, Coleman cook stove and fuel, one lantern, ax, shovel, bucket, table, and a complete kitchen including cooking and eating utensils for the party. You need to bring only your personal gear and food. We'll pack you and your gear on horseback to your camp, and we'll make frequent checks with you for prompt care of your game or for any other necessity.

Our ten-day drop camp for a party of two is $2200 plus 6% sales tax per person, a party of three is $1950 plus 6% sales tax per person, parties of 4 or more are $1700 per person plus 6 % state sales tax.

Each additional day over the ten-day schedule is $100 dollars per person plus tax

DROP CAMP 2

With a drop camp, the outfitter provides all the necessary gear for your party to stay comfortably in the wilderness on your own. This is an ideal hunt for experienced hunters and outdoorsmen who don't require guides and cooks. We will pack your party and gear in and out on mules (however some high ridge camps require the hunters to hike down). All meat is packed out at no additional charge. We do not leave horses in camp because the camps are located in the middle of excellent hunting country. All drop camps are 3 to 7 hours in on horse back.Your camp will be catered to your party size. All camps will have at least one 14' x 16' wall tent and some larger camps have two tents. All tents have a wood stove for cooking and heating and tent floors that can be swept to help keep your tent clean. Comfortable cots and foam pads are provided to ensure good resting. An ax and crosscut saw are furnished for cutting firewood. All of our camps are located within 200 yards of water.Camp Equipment:- All necessary kitchen gear and utensils, propane or gas cook stove- Lanterns, tables, chairs, cots and foam pads- Axe, saw, shovel and broomParties should discuss and decide on a menu that best suits them. Bring enough food so you eat well, but excess food may not be packed out.
